APPENDIX R SAFETY EVALUATION CLARIFICATION AND REVISION - BRUNSWICK STEAM ELECTRIC PLANT, UNITS 1 AND 2 (TAC NOS 65508 AND 65509)
By letter dated May 19, 1987, you requested clarification in nineteen areas of the staff's December 30, 1986 Safety Evaluation on the above subject.
We have reviewed your request and agree to clarification of fifteen of the nineteen areas you identified. We do not believe that areas 1, 4, 5, and 7 need clarification based upon our belief that the original Safety Evaluation adequately stated the conditions that are acceptable to the staff.
The details l
of our Safety Evaluation are enclosed; the enclosure should be appended to our December 30, 1986 Safety Evaluation on this subject.
