ACCEPTANCE OF GLOBAL LASER ENRICHMENT REQUEST TO UPDATE THE PROGRAM CYBER SECURITY UPDATE REVISION 8 AND ANNUAL CONTINUOUS MONITORING REPORT REVISION 4 - ENTERPRISE PROJECT IDENTIFICATION NUMBER L-2019-SPR-0000

Dear Ms. Jenny:

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff has received your submittal letter, GLE-2019-0130, dated November 22, 2019 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Number ML19343B620). The submittal provides a revised Revision 8 to the Program Cyber Security Plan (PCSP) in response to U.S. Department of Energy Request for Additional Information issued on November 13, 2019 (ADAMS Accession No. ML19326A211).

In addition, the submittal included an update to the PCSP Annual Continuous Monitoring Report Revision 4.

The NRC staff, in consultation with U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) staff, have completed the acceptance review of your submittal and no administrative omissions or deficiencies were identified that would prevent us from proceeding with a detailed review. Your submittal has been assigned Enterprise Project Identification Number (EPID) L-2019-SPR-0000, Global Laser Enrichment (GLE), Information Security Oversight.

Please note that the NRC staffs technical review of your submittal may identify issues that require additional information. Based on our preliminary evaluation and projection of current review schedules, we anticipate completing our formal review by November 29, 2019. This date could change depending on the findings of our technical review, urgent assignments, or other factors. We will promptly communicate any significant changes to this schedule. In addition, the NRC staff estimates that completing the review of your submittal will require approximately 10 NRC staff hours which corresponds to about $2,780.00 ($278.00/hr.) and an estimated

$3000.00 in contract costs.

Note: a copy of the submittal package was not received by the NRC Document Control Desk which resulted in a delay in processing till December 9, 2019. To avoid this type of delay in the future, please address public and sensitive unclassified non-safeguards information (SUNSI) documents consistent with the Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations 70.5, Communications, as follows:
