UNITED STATES NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION DOCKET NO. 50-213 CONNECTICUT YANKEE ATOMIC PO'4R COMPANY NOTICE OF ISSUANCE OF AMENDMENT TO FACILITY OPERATING LICENSE The U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (the Commission) has issued Amencment No. 36 to Facility Operating License No. DPR-61, issued to Connecticut, Yankee Atomic Power Company (the licensee), which revised the Technical Specifications for operation of the Haddam Neck Plant (the facility), located in Middlesex County, Connecticut. The snendment is effective as of its date of issuance.
The amendment revises the withdrawal schedule of the reactor vessel material surveillance capsules and also revises the Administrative Controls Sections of Appendices A and B Technical Specifications to reflect current organizational structure and titles.
The applications for the amendment complies with the standards and requirements of the Atc=ic Energy Act of 1954, as amended (the Act), and the Cemnission's rules and regulations.
The Ccemission has made ac:rocriate findings as required by the Act and the Ccamission's rules and reculations in 10 CFR Chapter !, which are set forth in the iicense amendment.
Prior public notice of this amendment was not required since the amendment does not involve a significant hazards consideration.
The Commission has determined that the issuance of this amendment will not result in any significant environmental imoact and that pursuant to 10 CFR $51.5(d)(4) an environmental imcact statement or negative declaration ar.c environmental impact acoraisal need not be prepared in connection with issuance of this amencment.
