The loose connections are believed to have caused damage to the channel's test printed circuit board (Al).

In addition, damage to leads was found on the high voltage. junction box circuit card. This damage may have resulted from handling by technicians during the initial troubleshooting t

work. Additional parts were replaced as a precaution against channel failure due to stress imposed during this event. These. included the de-tector tube and printed circuit boards A2 and A3. The channel has oper-ated satisfactorily since it was returned to service.
