This refers to the routine safety inspection conducted by Mr. W. P. Reichhold of this office on April 27, 1981, of activities authorized by NRC Byprodtet Material Licenses No. 24-17680-01 and Special Nuclear Material License No. SNM-1803 and to I
the telephone conversation concerning our findings with you on May 6, 1981.
The inspection was an examination of activities conducted under your license as they relate to raaiation safety and to compliance with the Commission's rules and regulations and with the conditions of your license. The inspection consisted of a selective examination of procedures and representative records, observations, independent mea.surecents, and interviews with personnel.
No items of noncompliance with NRC requirements were identified during the in-spection of Licesne No. SNM-1803; however, during the inspection of License No. 24-17680-01, it was found that certain of your activities appear to be in noncompliance with NRC requirements, as described in the enclosed Appendix A, and a written response is required.
We will gladly discuss any questions you have concerning this inspection.
