Gentlemen:
Thank you for your letter dated June 5, 1981, informing us of the action
taken concerning the two items of noncompliance which we brought to your
attention in Inspection Report No. 50-461/81-09 forwarded by our letter
dated May 4, 1981.
With respect to Item 1, your actions will be reviewed during a subsequent
inspection.

With respect to 'tems 2a and 2b, we do not consider the actions delineated
in your letter to be fully respodsive. While we acknowledge your request
for 90 days in which to prepare a comprehensive evaluation of the correc-
'
tive action to be taken in regards to these '.tems, your response did not
address the following:
(1) The corrective action taken to identify and control the failure of
the as-built PGCC cable installation to conform to the requirements
of the design criteria (NED0-10466-A).
(2) The measures taken to prevent recurrence of this noncompliance.
Therefore, we request that you submit a second letter to this office
within thirty days of the date of this letter, to respond to our concerns
regarding Items 2a and 2b.
Your response should be submitted under oath
or affirmation and should include for this item of noncompliance:
