Docket No. 50-334, License No. DPR-66 Proposed Revision 2 to Request No. 36 to Operating License Gentlemen:

Enclosed are three (3) originals and thirty-seven (37) copies of a proposed revision to Amendment 36 of the Beaver Valley Power Station Technical Specification Appendix A.

This proposal requests that Technical Specifications 6.12.1, 6.12.2 and 6.13 as submitted by our letter dated May_14, 1980, which is pending review, be modified as shown in the attachnent to this letter.

This proposed revision modifies " Radiation Was;k Permit to Radiological Work Permit or Radiological Access Control Permit" and states the job titles responsible for the Radiological Environmental Monitoring Program under the personnel reorganization.

Included, for your information only, is a revised version of the Process Control Program.

This revised Process Control Program is not a part of the proposed amended Technical Specification but is being forwarded to update your records related to this activity.

Safety Evaluation The purp'se of this modification is to permit the use of a new form (the Radiolc3 cal Access Contrcl Permit) as a method of controlling 1

and documenting certain entries into plant controlled areas and to clarify the present wording to designate responsibility related to specific job categories.

The OSC and ORC has reviewed this proposei tevision to Amendment 36 of the Technical Specifications and have determined that there are no unreviewed safety irplications associated with this change and that this revision does not constitute an unreviewed safety question.

Since this is a revision to an existing change request, we have determined that no fee is required.

Very t y yours,
