In accordance with your application dated June 1,1981, and pursuant to Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, Part 70, Materials License No. SNM-1097 is hereby amended to authorize the. start-up and operation of the new dry UF to 6

UQ conversion lines (GECO), subject to the following conditions:

2 1.

Only one of the new GEC0 lines shall be operated at a time and only if the uranium has been emptied from the other new line.

2.

When the new GEC0 line is being operated, only one of the old GEC0 lines shall be permitted to operate.

All other conditions of this license shall remain the same.

The above conditions have been discussed and agreed to between your Mr. W. J.

Hendry and W. T. Crow of my staff and shall remain in effect until the permanent amendment is issued authorizing complete use of the facility.
