Subject: Combined Management Meeting 50-354/81-01; 50-355/81-03
This refers to the meet!rg held at the NRC Region I Office on February 5,1981.
This management meeting, which related to activities autnorized by NL License
Nos. CPPR-120 and CPPR-121, was an enforcement conference to discuss licensee
and subcontractor performance and to review recent licensee responses to enforce-
ment action.
This meeting was attended by Mr. R. T. Carlson and other members
of the NRC Region I staff and Mr. J. T. Boettger and other members of his staff.
A brief outline of tra meeting and a list of all attendees are included in the
Inspection and Enforcement Management Meeting Report which is enclosed with this
letter.
It is our opinion that t,is meeting was beneficial as it provided an opportunity
for us to express our ccuerns to you and provided you with an opportunity to
inform us of actions you have taken to ensure effective implementation of cor-
rective action.
In accordance with Section 2.790 of the NRC's " Rules of Practice," Part 2, Title
10, Code of Federal Regulations, a copy of this letter and the enclosed report
will be placed in the NRC's Public Document Room.
No reply to this letter is required; however, should you have any questions
concerning the meeting, we shal' be pleased to discuss them with you.
