ISE Bulletin No. 80-16, dated 6/27/80 and Potential Substantial Safety Hazard on Rose =ont Transmitters Nuclear Engineering Files 2.8950, 3.1051.
Dear Mr. O'Reilly:
In our August 25, 1980 letter on the subject bulletin, South Carolina Electric and Gas Company provided our response.. Our review of safety-related applications of Rose =ont Models 1151 and 1152 transmitters revealed no safety problems. Our review of non-safety transmitters revealed some problems and corrective action was noted.
The August 25, 1980 letter was not issued as a final report since the schedule for completion of the work on the non-safety transmitters was not known at that time.
In a recent audit of Su==er Station, Mr. Tom Gibbons of your office requested lwe issue a final letter'for documentation purposes since the remaining work only involved non-safety-related activities. Therefore, this letter is written for that purpose and is considered as a final report on IEB-80-16.
