LER ATTACHMENT - RO #2-81-15 Facility: BSEP Unit No.

2 Event Date: February 7, 1981 The !nstrument switch to magnet adjustment was such that the switch rubbed against the magnet during part of the magnet's rotational travel. As a result the instrument indication and switch actuation lagged behind the applied pressure. The switch was readjusted to allow free tisvel of the magnet and the instrument was calibrated and returned to service. This type of level instrument will be replaced with analog-type instrumentation during a future outage. These instruments are functional checked monthly and calibration checked quarterly.
