Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station Docket No. 50-219 Technical Specification Change Request No. 95 In accordance with 10 CFR 50.59 and 10 CFR 50.90, Jersey Central Power 6 Light Company, owner and operator of the Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station, Provisional Operating License No. DPR-16, request NRC review of the attached infomation in support of changes that will be proposed to Appendix A of that license.
The attached infomation and future technical specifications deal with proposed modifications to the Core Spray System spargers and piping inside the reactor vessel.
The attached infomation provides the conceptual design, preliminary sketches, and approach that will be used in modifying the core spray system. Since this information is preliminary the design may undergo some changes as the prcject progresses. Also it is too early at this time to provide proposed technical specification changes.
As the project progresses we will keep you infomed of design changes and test results on a periodic basis. We anticipate that our proposed technical specification change will be forwarded in the early fall of 1981.
