This is in response to your letter dated March 26, 1981, in which you requested, pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, documents related to the import of special nuclear material or spent fuel from the Chalk River Reactor in Ontario, Canada.
Enclosed please find the documents listed on Appendix A.
These documents are also being placed in our Public Document Room,1717 H Street, N.W.,
Washington, DC.
In addition, License ISNM79008 was issued to N. L. Industries, Albany, NY, on August 20, 1979, and subsequently amended April 8,1980 to allow the return of about 72 kilograms of uranium as irradiated fuel from Chalk River. The license is valid through July 1,1981, but our information indicates that the licensee has completed all shipments contemplated under the license.
This completes action on your request.
