This refers to your request dated September 26, 1963, for AEC authorization of Proposed Change No. M in the Technical Specifica-tions of Facility License No. DPR-3 pursuant to'the provisions of Section 50 59, 10 CFR 50.
'Ibe Proposed Change would provide for modifications which would allow blending Of demineralized water and borated safety injection water to form a diluted borated feed vater solution of the proper concentration for use in the low pressure surge tank.
We have reviewed the Proposed Change and have found that it does not present significant hazards considerations not described or implicit in the hazards summary report, and that there is reason-ab e assurance that the health and safety of the public vill not be endangered. A copy of our related hazards annivsis is enclosed.
In view of the foregoing, Change No. M is hereby authorized as proposed pursuant to Section 50 59, 10 CFR 50.
