This :cfers to your request dated December 16, 1963, for AEC authorizatio'n of Froposed Change No. 50 in the Technical Specifications of Facility License No. DFR-3 pursuant to the provisions of Section 50.59, 10 CFR 50. The Proposed Chr_nge would revise certain of.the power, temperature and set point limits stated in the Tecnical Specifications. These revisions would provide for operation of t he reactor at the increased power level of 600 MW thernal which was authorized by Amendment No. 5 to License No. DPR-3.

F We have reviewed the Proposed. Change and have found that it does not present significant hazards considerations not described or implicit in the hazards su:c:ary report, and that there is reasonable assurance that the health and cafety of the public will not be endangered. A copy of our related hazards analysis is enclosed.
In view cf the foregoing, pursuant to Section 50.59,10 CFR 50, the Technical Specificat.icas to License No. DPR-3 are amended as requested in Proposed Change No. 50 filed December 16, 1063.
