The Commission was briefed by staff on the proposed rule on Technical Criteria for High-Level Waste Repositories.
The Commission noted that EDO will submit revised pages for SECY-81-267.

Chairman Hendrie requested the staff provide the Commission with background information they may have on draft EPA standards for releases from geologic repositories.
Chairman Hendrie and Commissioner Ahearne indicated they had further detailed questions on the proposed rule which they will discuss at a following meeting.
The Commission reached no decision at the meeting.
The Chairman indicated that further consideration would be given to the proposed rule at a meeting at a later date.
(Subsequently, a meeting was scheduled for Tuesday, May 12, 1981).
