OFFICE (OPEN TO PUBLIC ATTENCANCE) ne Commission continued its discussion of several proposed procedural rule cn",ges to Part 2 and of the staff analysis of public comment in SECY-81-252.
The Commission had previously agreed wi:n the staff reconnendations on Pro:osals 2, 3, 4 and 6 of the subject pacer.
(See SRM from 4/28 meeting dated 4/30.)

The Ccamission agreed to an alternative to Proposal 5 of the subject paper concerning the filing of proposed findings of facts as follows:
30 days after record closes--deadline for applicant to file proposed findings of fact 40 days after record closes--deadline for intervenors 50 days after record closes--deadline for staff 55 days after record closes--deadline for applicant to file reply to other parties' filings.

The Comiss' ion considered, as an alternative to Proposal 1 of the subject paper, a proposal that would limit the number of inte:rrogatories which may be asked.
The Comissien requested that OGC, ASLAP, ASLBP, and ELD provide a more detailed proposal and their recomendations.
(This subject was discussed further at a Comission meeting on May 7.)
