This refers to your letter dated January 22, 1981, in response to our letter
dated December 31, 1980.
We reviewed your submittal dated May 10, 1978 referenced in your letter, and
your procedure AP 5005, Standard Welding and Inspection Procedure. Although
your procedure AP 5005 does not incorporate all of the NRC guidelines of Attach-
ment 4 ~of the NRC document titled " Nuclear Plant Fire Protection Functional
Responsibilities, Administrative Controls and Quality Assurance" we find that
the procedure satisfies the objectives of the NRC document.
