CONTAINMENT SPRAY SYSTEM - BIG ROCK POINT The Comission has issued the enclosed Amendment No. 37 to Facility Operating License No. DPR-6 for the Big Rock Point Nuclear Plant.
This amendment consists of changes to the Technical Specifications in response to your application dated December 5,1980, as supplemented December 19, 1980.
Tne amendment authorizes modification to the containment spray s;, tem that will incorporate (1) a prompt automatic containment spray system, (2) a remote manual backup containment spray system, and (3) the addition of spray no: les in the steam drum cavity.
During the course of our review, your representative requested changes to Table 11.4.3.4.
We have discussed these changes and have mutually agreed upon them.
Copies of our related Safet; Evaluation and the Notice of Issuance are also enclosed.
