This is in regard to your request for appraal of a route to be used for transport of irradiated reactor fuel as contained in your letter of Sap-tenber 26,1980 (Serial No.: NO-80-1410), as supplemented by information provided telephonically to Mr. Hillman of the NRC staff by your Mr. Bohanan on October 8,1980 (see enclosuref1).
The route proposed in your September 26, 1980 letter has been reviewed and is judged to meet the regulatory requirements in accordance with 10 CFR Part 73.37 and accordindly is approved.
A copy of the approved route is enclosed (enclosure #2). This information is to be incorporated into your shipment plan.
Please note that this approval does not relieve you of the notificaticn re-quirements of 10 CFR Part 73.72 for each individual shiprent.
