change to certain sections of the Yankee " Final Hazards Summary Report" which are incorporated into the Technical Specifications of your License by reference, it is our opinion that Amendment

No. 40 should be reviewed as a Proposed Change.
Accordingly, we have considered the information which you submitted in Amend-p ment No. 40 as Proposed Change No. 27.
p Based on our review of Proposed Change No. 27, we have found that it does not present significant hazards considerations not described or implicit in the hazards summary report and that there is reason-able assurance that the health and safety of the public will not be endangered.
A copy of our related hazards analysis is enclosed.
In view of the foregoing, the modifications of the facility described in Yankee's letter dated June 1, 1962, entitled Amendment No. 40 to License Application Dated June 29, 1956, are hereby authorized as Proposed Change No. 27.
