REACTIVITY CONTROL SYSTEMS _
CHARGING PUMP - SHUTOOWN LIMITING CONDITION FOR OPERATION 3.1. 2. 5 At least one charging pump in the boron injection flow path required by Specification 3.1.2.2 shall be OPERABLE.
APPLICABILITY: MODE 5.'
ACTION:
With no charging pump OPERABLE, suspend all operations involving positive reactivity changes until at least one charging pump is restored to OPERABLE status.
SURVEILLANCE REQUIREMENTS 4.1. 2. 5 At least the above required charging pump shall be demonstrated I
OPERABLE at least once per 31 days by:

i 4.5.2 Each ECCS safety injection subsystem, the recirculation sub-l system, and the long term hot leg injection subsystem shall be dcmon-I strated OPERABLE:
1 At least once per 31 days on a STAGGERED TEST BASIS by:
a.

Verifying that each high pressure safety injection pump:
a)
Starts (unless already operating) from the control room.
b)
Develops a discharge pressure of 3.850 psig on re-circulation flow.
c)
Operates for at least 15 minutes.
2.
Verifying that each low pressure safety injection pump:

Starts (unless already operating) from the control 0
room.

Develops a discharge pressure of > 250 psig on recirculation flow through CS-MOV 532.

Operates for at least 15 minutes.

Verifying that each purification pump:
