License No. DPR-3 By latter dated November 27, 1972, you proposed changes to the Technical Specifications appended to License No. DPR-3 for the Tankee reactor. The proposed changes would incorporate a new section to the Technical Specifications to include reporting requirements.
During our review of your application, we informed your staff that certain changes to your proposal were necessary to meet regulatory requirements. These changes have been made.
We have reviewed your proposed changes, as modified, and have determined that they conform to Regulatory Guides Nos. 16 and 21.
We conclude that Change No.101 does not present significant hazards consideration and there is reasonable assurance that the health and safety of the public will not be endangered.
Pursuant to 10 CFR Part 50, Section 50.59, the Technical Specifications are changed as shown in Attachment A.
The license has also been smended to delete Section 3.D that specifies reporting requirements because they are concurrently being incorporated in the Technical Specifications which is appended to the license as App diw A.-
Accordingly, Amendment No. 6 to License No. DPR-3 is enclosed.
