U YANKEE ATOMIC POWER COMPANY DOCKET NO. 50-29 NOTICE OF ISSUANCE OF AMENDMENT TO FACILITY LICENSE The Atomic Energy Commissien ("the Commission") has issued, effective C
as of date of issuance,. mendment No. 6 to Facility License No. DPR-3.
Facility License No. DPR-3 authorizes the Yankee Aconic Power Company to possess, use and operate the Yankee reactor located at Rowe, Massachusetts.
The amand:ent deletes Section 3.D. on reporting requirements from the licensa because Change No. 101, that is being issued cancurrently, incor-porates the reporting equire=ents in the Technical Specifications of
. Facility License No. DPR-3.
Tha Co==ission has found that the application for amendment complies with the require =ents of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended, and the Ccmission's regulations published in 10 CFR, Chapter I.
"'h e Co=rtission has made the findings (relating to its review of the application) which are set forth in the amendment and has concluded that the issuance of the a=endment will not be inimical to the common _ defense and security or to the health and safety of the public. The Co==1ssion also has found that prior notice of this amend:ent-is not required since the amendment does not involv significant hazards censideration.
