This will acknowledge receipt of your June 9,1980 letter in which License Condition 5.2 of Amendment MPP-4 to SNM-1067 was revised to allow Combustion Engineering, Inc., an interval of 210 days between inventories with a minimum of two inventories per calendar year.
The original submittal requesting this change (CE letter May 20,1980) must be modified to reflect the discussions and agreements reached between your Mr. R. L. Jackson and our Mr. T. B. Bowie.
Combustion Engineering, Inc., requests, therefore, that revised Section 5.1 Inventory Requirements of its Fundamental Nuclear Material Control Plan be reviewed and approved:
5.1 Inventory Requirements Periodic physical inventories of Special Nuclear Material assigned to Combustion Engineering, Inc., Windsor facility are required and will be conducted in accordance with federal regulations. These physical inventories shall be conducted at intervals not to exceed 210 days with a mini-mum of two inventories per year.
Revised copies of our Fundamental Nuclear Material Control Plan are being forwarded under separate cover for your review and approval.
