JUL1/196 APPENDIX A NOTICE OF VIOLATION General Electric Company License No. SNM-1097 Based on the NRC inspection June 23-27, 1980, certain of your activities were apparently not conducted in full compliance with NRC requirements as indicated below. These items have been categorized as described in correspondence to you dated December 31, 1974.
Condition 9 of the license requires that licensed material be used in accordance with statements, representations and conditions of Appendix A, as contained in the licensee's application. Appendix A, Section 4.1 requires that operations and activities shall be directed by the designated area manage.r who shall establish written operating procedures.
The Nuclear Safety Release (NSE-114-78) for the Rod Storage Cabinets requires that all cabinet doors will remain closed except when in immediate attendance.
Contrary to the above, the Rod Storage Cabinet doors were observed unclosed with no individuals in immediate attendance.
This is a deficiency.
