Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station Docket No. 50-219 Proposed Organization Change By our letter dated August 25, 1980 we subniitted to you our Technical Specification Change Request No. 91 which defines the proposed new management organization for the Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station (OCNGS). The intent of this letter is to inform you that the proposed change does not a!ter the basic respor sib il i ty that Jersey Central Power & Light (JCP&L) has for the opeedion of the OCNGS under its license.
This can be seen in Figure 6.2.1 of the proposed change. The reporting chain from the Director-Oyster Creek, who is a JCP&L Vice-President, to the President of JCP&L is via the Deputy Chief Operating Executive and the Chief Operating Executive. When the proposed technical specification change becomes effective, the Deputy Chief Operating Executive will be a Vice-President of JCP&L. The Chief Operating Executive wil l become a Senior Vice-President of JCP&L upon ful f illment of routine regulatory requirenents.
