This refers to the letter of July 11, 1980 from L. M. Mills in response to the Notice of Violation and the Notice of Proposed Imposition of Civil Penalties sent to you with our letter dated June 18, 1980.
The Notice of Violation identified one item of noncompliance involving a solid waste shipmerit from Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant which exceeded Department of Transportation dose rate limits.
The specific corrective measures detailed in your response to the item of noncompliance will be reviewed during subsequent inspections to determine your effectiveness in preventing additional noncompliances.
This also acknowledges receipt on July 11, 1980, of your payment in full of the proposed $5,000 civil penalty.
