The. U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (the Commission) has issued Amendment No. 50 to Facility Operating License No. DPR-40, issued to Cmaha Public Power District, which revised a license condition and the E

Technical Specifications for operation of the F. Calhoun Station, Unit hs.1 (the facility) located in Washington County, Nebraska. The amendment is effective as of its date of issuance.

The application for the amendment complies with the standards and 9

recuirements of tne Atomic Energy Act of 195t, as amended (the Act), and

The Commission has made appropriate fir. dings as required by the Act and the Commission's rules and regulations in 10 CFR Chapter I, which are set forth in the license amendment. No other petition or request for a hearing was filed.

Area Planning Agency.

The petition was subsecuently withdrawn and the proceeding dismissed on February 8,1980 by Order of the Atemic Safety and Licensing Board (45 FR 10495, February 15,1980).

The Commission has prepared an environmental impact appraisal for the revised Technical Specifications and has concluded that an environmental impact statement for this particular action is not warranted because there will be no environmental impact attributable to the action other than that which has already been predicte: and described in the Commission's Final Envirencental Statement for the facility dated August 1972.
