construction site on January 7,1971, is transmitted for information.
- No significant safety problems or items of nonconformance were encountered during the inspection.
As you know, the Midlands' construction activities have been terminated pending developments in the preconstruction permit hearing currently in progress.. The purpose' of the inspection visit was to determine the scope and quality of a formal program initiated on the part of 1
the applicant to protect ' structures, materials, components, and equipment during the period of time in which construction activities are J
in.a state of suspension.
In the opinion of our inspectors, adequate programs have been developed 4
- and implemented to assure construction site security and to protect
' Class I structures, components, materials, and equipment from weather and/or other long-term storage hazards.
We plan to make a similar inspection approximately four months from the.date of the current inspection.
