SUMMARY

OF OPERATIONS JANUARY, 1981 In January, 1981, the unit remained shutdown for Cycle II-III refueling.

The following safety-related maintenance was performed in January:

1.

Performed miscellaneous maintenance on Diesel Generators.

2.

Replaced fiber optic lamp on a control room chlorine detector.

3.

Continued implementation of main control board modifications recommended as a result of human factors evaluation.

4.

Continued implementation of various NUREG-0578 and NUREG-0737 requirements.

5.

Repacked No. 10 River Water pump.

6.

Continued implementaion of various Farley Fire Protection Program Re-evaluation requirements.

7.

Replaced defective transformer in 1B inverter.

8.

Installed freeze protection on exposed Condensate Storage Tank and Reactor Makeup Water Storage Tank piping.
