Dear Mr. Miller:
In response to your letter of February 23, 1981 regarding renewal of our license for the TRICA reactor, we wish to request an extension of the March 31 submission date to May 31, 1981.
We were delayed somewhat by having to request a copy of the July 13, 1978 letter you referred to.
In addition, Michigan State University is currently undergoing a program review or self-assessment to deterr. tine which areas to strengthen and which areas to eliminate or curtail in order to deal with projected budget reductions. The review is almost complete, so we will be in a better position to make future p ans with regard to the TRICA reactor a month from now.
