It is our pleasure to tralismit to the Comittee on Energy and Commerce the enclosed Report to the Congress of the United States of America on 1
"The Feasibility of Epidt.aiologic Investigations o' the Health Effects of Low-Level Ionizing Radiation." This report was requested by the Congress in Sec. 5(d) of Public Law 95-601 and in Sec. 308 of Public Law 96-295, and has been transmitted to the President of the Senate and the Speaker of the House under separate cover.
The report is based primarily on the results of a fifteen month contractual effort, carried out under joint sponsorship of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission and Environmental Protection Agency, with cognizance of the Department of Health and Human Services.
