This is to advise you that Code Case h-279, dated t'ay 15,19C0, is acceptable subject to the following ccnditions in addition to those srecified in the code case. When prelcading is used as a locking device and the joint is required to be rerreved, the bolting shall be replaced unless proof is presented that the original bolting has net !cen permanently strained.
Therefore, Code Case N-279 tray be used in the ccnstructicn of coraronents for the Seabrcok Station, subject to the conditions indicated above. Use of the ccde case should be docurrented in the FSAR.
