Gentlemen:
Subject:
Combined Inspection 50-245/80-11; 50-336/ 80-09
This refers to your letter dated October 16, 1980, in response to our letter
dated September 22, 1980.
Thank you for informing us of the corrective and preventive actions documented
in your letter.
These actions will be examined during a subsequent inspection
of your licensed program.
Based upon your response to Item E, we have re-evaluated the situation and agree
that the failure to inform workers of radioactive materials in a restricted
area, as required by 10 CFI,19.12, was a direct result of their failure to
obtain a Radiation Work Pern,.t.
Therefore, we consider this as a single item of
noncompliance at the infraction level and will correct our records accordingly.
Your cooperation with us is appreciated.
Sincerely,
2 s
