Dear Mr. Bauer:
Enclosed herein is Supplement No. 4 to the Safety Evaluation of the Peach Bottom Atomic Power Station Fire Protection Program.
This evaluation is based on our review of your letter dated October 31, 1980 and resolves cer-tain of the issues identified in our May 23, 1979 evaluation.
Certain of the issues identified in our initial evaluation remain unresolved.
A tabulation of these issues is also enclosed.
Final resolution of these issues as well as the acceptability of your overall Fire Protection Program will be predicated upon compliance with the provisions of the new paragraph 50.48 and Appendix R to 10 CFR 50 which was published in the FEDERAL REGISTER on November 19, 1980.
