Therefore, in order to conform with the NRC criteria, Philadelphia Electric Company's position is revised to read as follows: Exterior hose shall be 7
hydrostatically tested or replaced with an appropriately tested hose annually.
Interior hose shall be hydrostatically tested or replaced with an appropriately tested hose every three years.

NRC Requirement (Section 3.2.6 of reference 2)
Determine the need to upgrade the reacter feed pump turbine oil reservoir doors to provide a 3 hour3.472222e-5 days <br />8.333333e-4 hours <br />4.960317e-6 weeks <br />1.1415e-6 months <br /> fire rating.
Resnonse The existing doors are certified by Underwriters Laboratories as having a 3 hour3.472222e-5 days <br />8.333333e-4 hours <br />4.960317e-6 weeks <br />1.1415e-6 months <br /> fire rating, and therefore satisfies the NRC requirement.

':RC Requirement (Section 3.2.3 (3) of reference 2)
Study the feasibility of installing remote alara lamps for new or existing smoke detectors which are obstructed from sight in large rooms with nultiple detectors.
Resnonse Philadelphia Clectric Company previously conaitted to the i
incorporation of this feature into the early warning detector systen where the local detector alara indicator are obstructed from sight in large rooms with multiple detectors.
The NRC staff J
has requested the locations where we have concluded tnis feature is required.
i The cable spreading room smoke detector systen will be provided with a remote indicator panel outside the roon.
Each smoke detector in the cable spreading room will have a lamo on the panel to indicate detector actuation.
The systen'in other areas of the plant for~which 'RC approval has been received, will not require renote laups.
We will evaluate the need for this feature on additional detector systens as they are approved by the N P,C.
