Gentlemen:
This refers to the followup inspection conducted by
Dr. M. J. Destmann and Mr. J. A. Pagliaro of this office on
June 24, 1976, of activities at the Dresden Nuclear Power
Station authorized by Operating Licenses No. DPR-2, No. DPR-19,
and No. DPR-25, and to the discussion of our findings with
Mr. J. Abel of your staff at the conclusion of this inspection.
A telephone conversation regarding the condition of the tempo-
rary medical area was held between Hr. Pagliaro and Mr. F. Palmer
of your corporate staff on Ju.te 29. 1976. An emergency drill

involving the Generating Stations Emergency Plan (GSEP) medical
plan was also observed by Dr. Oestmann on July 14-15, 1976.

The enclosad copy of our inspection report identifies areas
examined during the inspection. Within these areas, the
inspection consisted of a selective examination of procedures
and representative records, observations, and interviews with
personnel.
No items of noncompliance with NRC requirements were iden-
tified during the course of this inspection. However, our
inspectors expressed their areas of concern pertaining to:
(1) the housekeeping and cleanliness of the temporary medical
area; and (2) the adeq1acy of your first aid kit No. 2a for
first aid supplies for the temporary medical acea. We under-
sta'd that your staff medical doctor will be invited to
exami:.e this medical area within the next few weeks. Please
advise us of what action your doctor recommends be taken to
improve the adequacy of this temporary medical area.
Include
a completion date for implementing the recommendations.
We also acknowledge receipt of your letter, dated June 7, 1976,
which clarifies your plans for the first aid / decontamination

In accordanca with Section 2.790 of the URC's " Rules of
Practice," Part 2, Title 10. Codo of Federal Regulations, a
copy of this lotter and the enclosed inspection report will
be placed in the M3C's Public Document Room, except as follows.
If this report contains information that you or your contractors
believe to be pronrietary, you nust apply in writing to this
offico, within twenty days of your receipt of this letter, to
withhold auch information from public disclosure. The
application cust include a full statement of the reasons for
which the infor=stion is considered proprietary, and should be
prepared so that propriocary information identifiod in the
application is contained in an enclosure to the application,
