U. S.. Nuclear Regulatory Commission gyi' Washington, DC 20545 In Re: Florida Power Corporation Crystal River Nuclear Generating Plant
( N ket No. 50-3{2}
Dear Sir:
Enclosed are one (1) executed original and five (5) copies of Florida Power Corporation's Application for Amendment to our Special Nuclear Material License No. SNM-1275 for Crystal River Unit #3.
This license authorizes the receipt, possession, inspection, storage, and packaging for transport of enriched uranium in the form of reactor fuel assemblies, and the receipt, possession, and storage only of Americium-beryllium-curium neutron sources.
The proposed modification is to Section 3.1.2 Sources of Water on page four of our Application for a Special Nuclear Materials License which
- was filed with the Comission on August 23, 1971 and subsequently revised on November 26, 1974 and August 6, 1975.
The revised page to this application contains a date of revision and a vertical line in the right margin identifying the modification made to the existing page.
As we are currently planning to receive the first fuel shipment on October 9,1975, we stand ready to expedite this amendment to our application in order to avoid potential schedule problems.
Very truly yours, JTR:1dh J.
