CONTAIN'!ENT SYSTEMS CONTAINMENT VENTILATION SYSTEM LIMI1ING CONDITION FO'1 OPERATION 3.6.1.9 - One pair (one purge supply line and one purge exhaust line) of containment purge system lines may be open. The containment purge supply and exhaust isolation valves in all other containnent purge lines shall be closed. Operation with purge supply or exhaust isolation valves open for either purgine or venting shall be limited to less than or equal to 244l hours per 365 days.

ACTION:
With purge supply or exhaust isolation valve or vent line isolation ralve open in excess of the above cumulative limit, or with more than one pair of containment putge system lines open, close the isolation valve (s) in the purge line(s? eithin one hour or be in at least HOT STANDBY within the next 6 hours6.944444e-5 days <br />0.00167 hours <br />9.920635e-6 weeks <br />2.283e-6 months <br /> and in COLD SHUTD0h3 within the following 30 hours3.472222e-4 days <br />0.00833 hours <br />4.960317e-5 weeks <br />1.1415e-5 months <br />.
SURVEILLANCE REQUIRDIENTS 4.6.1.9.1 - The position of the containment purge supply and exhaust isolation valves shall be determined at least once per 31 days.
4.6.1.9.2 - The cumulative time that the purge supply and exhaust isolation valves are open during the past 365 days shall be determined at least once per 7 days.

ENCLOSURE 2 SEQUOYAH NUCLEAR PLANT UNIT 1 SUPPLEMENT TO SEQUOYAH CONTAINMENT PURGE SUBMITTAL (JANUARY 8,1981)
The January 8, 1981, containment purge submittal assumed one train of purge supply and exhaust fans lined up in the normal manner (i.e., multiple purge supply and exhaust lines open). Assuming no more than one purge and supply line open during purging, the estimated purge time in our original submit-tal will not be accurate. Utilizing only one supply and exhaust line will cut the purge supply and exhaust flow approximately in half (7000 cfm vs.
14000 cfm). With this reduced flow, we will need an estimated 2440 hours0.0282 days <br />0.678 hours <br />0.00403 weeks <br />9.2842e-4 months <br /> of purge time rather than the 1220 hours0.0141 days <br />0.339 hours <br />0.00202 weeks <br />4.6421e-4 months <br /> indicated in the submittal.
