In accordance with the provisions of 10 CFR ? art 50.59, we are enclosing 40 copies of a requested amendment to license DPR-77 to change the technical specifications of Sequoyah Nuclear Plant unit 1 (Enclosure 1). Justifica-tions to support the proposed change were submi"M to you by my letter dated January 8, 1981. Also enclosed is a supplement to the justifications to support the proposed changes (Enclosure 2).
This change involves a revision to the containment purge and vent time allowed per year (Technical Specification 3 6.1.9).
In accordance with the requirements of 10 CFR Part 170.22, we have deter-mined the proposed amendment to be Class III. The classification is based on the fact that a single safety issue is involved. The remittance of
$4,000 is being wired to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, Attention:
Licensing Fee Management Brancu.
