We have reviewed the proposed modification of the facility and have b
found that a change in the circuitry and set-points of the Safety Injection System as described does not present significant hazards r
P considerations not described or implicit in the license application I
as amended to January 12, 1961, and there is reasonable assurance that the hea11.h and safety of the public will not be endangered by operation of the f acility as proposed.
A copy of our analysis of the operation of the facility with the modifications described is attached hereto.
In view of the foregoing, authorization is hereby granted to Yankee Atomic Electric Company to alter the circuitry und set-points of the Safety Injection System described in Section 212 of the license i
application in accordance with Yankee's Proposed Change No. 8, dated May 8, 1961.
