This refers to the inspection conducted by Mr. Johnson of this
offire on January 7-10, 1975 at Yankee Nuclear Power Station, Rowe,
Massachusetts of activities authorized by AEC License No. DPR-3 and
to the discussions of our findings held by Mr. Johnson with Mr.
Autio of your staff at the conclusion of tha inspection, and
to a subsequent telephone discussion between Mr. Johnson and Mr.
Autio en January 14, 1975.
Areas examined during this inspection are described in the Regulatory
Operations Inspection Report which is enclosed with this letter.

Within these areas, the inspection consisted of selective examinations

of' procedures and representative records, interviews with personnel,

and observations by the inspe,: tor.

out by cancellation or incorporation in'.o existing facility procedures.
