South Texas Project Units 1&2 Docket Nos. STN 50-498, STN 50-499 Revised Quality Assurance Program Descriptions and Responses to NRC Questions This transmittal responds to the NRC letter of September 24, 1980 which requested a revised QA program description for the South Texas Project. The revised QA program description transmitted by this letter was summarized in the Hous:ron Lighting & Power (HL&P) response to the Show Cause Order issued on July 28, 1980, and a2 dresses questions raised by the NRC staff ant responded to by HL&P and Brown & Root (B&R) during the technical meeting held in Bay City on August 19, 1980. Attachment 1 is the revised QA program descriptions fer HL&P (Part A) and for B&R (Part B). These revised OA program descriptions supersede the previously docketed QA program descriptions and are currently being implemented. Also included as Attachment 2 to this letter is a response to the specific questions attached to the September 24, 1980 letter.
