The Commission has issued the enclosed Amendment No. 29 to Facility q
Operating License No. DPR-3 for the Yankee Nuc1 car Power Station (Yankee-Rowe). The amendment incorporates a new Section F.2 " Shock 1
Suppressors (Snubbers)" to the Technical Specifications and is in H,
I response to your request dated August 18, 1975 and supplemnt dated k
I January 29, 1976.
This arendment requires operability and surveillance of snubbers l
necessary for the protection of the primary coolant systen and all Gf I
[(A 4
other safety related systens and corponents.
Pursuant to discussions with your staff we have nado certain modifications to your proposal l
which they agreed are necessary to conform to our current requiremnts.
