IJNITED STATES NUCLEAR REGULATORY COhNISSION DOCKET NO. 50-29 YANKEE ATOMIC ELECTRIC COMPANY NOTICE OF ISSUANCE OF AMENDMENT TO FACILITY OPERATING LICENSE Notice is hereby given that the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission
, the Commission) has issued Amendment No. 29 to Facility Operating License
(
No. DPR-3 issued to Yankee Atomic Electric Company (the licensee) which revised Technical Specifications for operation of the Yankee Nuclear Power Station located in Rowe, Massachusetts. The amendment is effective as of its date of issuance.
This amendment requires operability and surveillance of snubbers necessary for the protection of the primary coolant system and all other safety related systems and components.
The application for the amendment complies with the standards and requirements of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended (the Act), and the Commission's rules and regulations. The Commission has made appro-priate findings as required by the Act and the Commission's rules and regulations in 10 CFR Chapter I, which are set forth in the license amen dment.
Prior public notice of this amendment was not required since the amendment does not involve a significant hazards consideration.
