Gentlemen:
This letter is to infonn you our plans to meet with Mr. E. Fuller and others of
your staff on Septeer.ber 10,1980, at 10:00 AM in the TNI/NRC Program Office.
Trailer 1 have been cancelled. The purpose of that meeting was to discuss and
resolve outstanding issues relative to Investigation Report 50-320/79-10 and
to your response to the cited items of noncompliance dated May 19 and July 21,
1980.
In light of your staff's understanding of our concerns, as evidenced by
discussions between Mr. Fuller and Mr. R. Conte of our staff, a meeting is no
longer deemed necessary at this time. Confinnation of our mutual desires to
cancel this meeting was discussed in a telephone conversation between Mr. Fuller
and Mr. T. Martin of our staff on September 9,1980.
No reply to this letter is required; however, if you shct1d have any questions
concerning this meeting, we will be pleased to discuss them with you.
