Enforcement Management t'eeting, Report No. 50-245/80-14; 50-336/80-15
This refers to the meeting with Mr. James M. Allan, Deputy Director, Region I at
Region I on August 5,1980.
The meeting attended by Mr. Opeka and other members
of your staff and by Mr. Allan and other members of the NRC Region I staff was
convened to discuss the Physical Security Program at Millstone Nuclear Station.
Based on the results of this discussion, an Immediate Action Letter was issued
which detailed five specific actions that, it was understood, you agreed to
compl e te.
In accordance with Section 2.790(d) of the NRC's " Rules of Practice," Part 2,
Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, documentation of findings of the control
and accounting procedures for safeguarding special nuclear materials and facility
security procedures are exempt from disclosure; therefore, the enclosure to this
lett.er will not be placed in the Public Document Room.
No reply to this letter is required; however, should you have any questions con-
cerning this meeting, we will be pleased to discuss them with you.
