Sub.iect: Licensed Operator Staffing Plan McGuire Nuclear Station, Units 1 and 2 As a result of our review of your application we find that the details of your staffing of licensed operators is unclear. We request that you provide us with a detailed discussion and description of your proposed licensed operator staffing plan projected through December 1983. The effect of operation of Unit 2 should also be included in the plan. We refer you to a recent (August 20,1980) letter submitted by the Public Service Electric and Gas Company regarding the Salem Generating Station (Docket 50-311) staffinq plan. We have separately provided your staff with a copy of this letter.

We request that your plan be submitted no later than September 12, 1980.
