Under separate cover, we are transmitting three (3) original and forty (40) conformed copies of an application for Amendment to Facility Operating License No. NPF-3 for the Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station, Unit No. 1, (DB-1).
This Amendment application is in direct response to your July 2, 1980 letter (7,g No. 581) identifying model technical specifications for actions taken
.a satisfy " Category A" recommendations resulting from TMI-2 Lessons Learned.
This revises portions of Toledo Edison's Amendment request submittal of July 13, 1979 (Serial No. 527).
Specifically sections II and V of the July, 1979 letter are superseded and hereby withdrawn due to their incorporation in this request.
Davis-Besse Unit I utilizes standardized technical specifications and therefore already includes several of the model specification pages.
To identify the appropriate disposition of each proposed change, Attachment A cross references the pages of your enclosure with this submittal.
The sections of Attachment B identify each proposed change, its safety evaluation and schedules required to knplement the change after NRC approval.
